OUR HISTORY

The Blue Cross Animal Hospital was founded at its current location in 1939, the dream of Dr. Peter White. Dr. Joseph Sayers purchased the hospital in the mid 1950's and cared for his patients until 1978. Dr. Gordon Crafts was practicing as a sole owner when Dr. W. James Brown joined the practice in 1990. Dr. Brown has managed the practice since 1991.

The facility underwent a major restoration and renovation in 2000. We can now practice the most current medicine and surgery in a comfortable atmosphere.

From the inception of our practice, we have seen ourselves as a dedicated group of professionals working together to do an excellent job for our clients, patients, and the profession. We attribute our success to our fine staff and services we offer.

One of the strong points of our mission is our teamwork attitude and our emphasis on communications with our clients. We believe in the delivery of up-to-date services to our patients in the most compassionate and humane manner that we can carry out as well as being caring and sensitive to our clients.
